The Iyengar method is commonly used by sportspeople for treatment of injuries and specific remedial problems, long term it is used to avoid injury,it also improves stamina, flexibility and mental focus.
Manchester United currently offer Iyengar yoga at their training ground and the first team and the youth team have been using the teaching since 2003.
