For those who have practised the Iyengar method for
at least two years. More advanced asanas are introduced
as well as some simple pranayama (breathing techniques).
Students will be expected to be able to practice sirsasana
(headstand). General classes are drop in by permission
of the teacher.

balance for five minutes. The practice will be more
demanding than at general level. Advanced asanas are
studied in more detail. As a general rule, students
can attend this level after four years of regular
asana practice or when they develop consistent self
directed practice. Intermediate classes are drop in
by permission of the teacher.
