A 5 day transformational intensive with Jayne Orton for teachers including Asana and pranayama practice, Patanjali study, a talk on Ayurveda, the Art of Teaching and also a Therapy session. Asana practice will be from all levels 1, 2 and 3. There will be a break each day with light snacks and drinks.

A workshop both in studio and online to work extensively and in depth on the level 1 syllabus. The Summer and Autumn workshops will focus upon the Art of Teaching through presentation, demonstration, observation and adjustment. After a very short break around two thirds of the way through the afternoon we shall have a discussion on class planning for level 1 and continuing beginners. This is all based upon the Pune Certification and Assessment Guidelines. This years Exchange of Learning Day will be led by Jayne and have a focus upon the practice of Pranayama and also the teaching of Pranayama at all levels of certification. Asanas will also be practised. The day will start at 1pm until 7pm but we will have a break half way for tea, snacks and socialising. Pre-booking is essential as places are limited. This is the only day on professional development for Iyengar teachers in the Midlands area and so attendance for teachers is highly recommended. Trainee teachers are also most welcome.
